Established in 1989, Alan Young Engineering LTD is a high precision engineering manufacturer based in South West Scotland.

Our Company

Here at Alan Young Engineering, we have a small highly skilled workforce that is ready to deal with almost any engineering challenge.

Having worked together with many companies in the research, development and manufacture of prototype components – we are confident that we have all the skills and facilities needed to design, manufacture, inspect and test your components. We can also provide various treatments/coatings through our network of subcontractors.

We work with multiple materials depending on application which include: titanium, heat treatable steels, stainless steels, aluminium alloys, brass, bronze as well as various plastics.

We have vast experience working in several areas of the engineering industry including: motor-sport, general automotive, power transmission, power generation, aerospace, food processing production, Medical robotics, Ministry of Defence, etc.

What We Do

Our company specialises in a wide variety of machining processes such as CNC turning, CNC Milling, Wire Erosion, Gear Cutting, etc. We are also BS ISO 9001 certified so the highest quality of products are assured.
